An assistant that only says what is true
Joan answers your visitors’ questions, day and night, from a knowledge base you manage yourself. What is not in it, she does not make up: instead she refers the visitor to one of your people.
Answers from your own knowledge, not the internet
A regular chatbot takes its answers from whatever it can find, and fills in the rest itself. Joan works the other way round: she only answers from the knowledge base you fill in the CMS, and says so honestly when she does not know.
You decide the answer to each question
Each question with variants, an answer, a source, an owner and a date until which it is valid. So you can see who manages what and when it was last checked.
You decide what Joan may say
Some answers Joan simply gives, others only under conditions, and some never. That way a rate or a sensitive topic stays with your people.
People and clients only when allowed
Joan only names an employee once they have given consent, and a client only once the name has been released. The same goes for figures from cases.

You fill the knowledge base
In the CMS, or we transfer your existing questions and answers for you. If they are now in a document or spreadsheet, that is enough to start with.

Joan is on your site
As a block on the pages you choose, in your own house style. You set how long a question may be and how many questions a visitor can ask.

Your team takes over where needed
If Joan cannot answer something, she refers to the contact person, phone number and email address you provide. You can read back conversations to improve the knowledge base.
What you need
A site on Core CMS and a knowledge base with your own questions and answers. Joan runs in the Netherlands and uses Anthropic’s Claude language model to phrase her answers.
Conversations are kept for 90 days to improve Joan. We remove contact details before anything is stored.

On top of your Core CMS subscription, excluding usage costs for the language model and, if you switch it on, the talking avatar minutes.
Also with a face and a voice
Joan can also appear on your site as a talking avatar, in Dutch or English. You decide how much that may cost.
A maximum per month
You set a maximum number of minutes per month, a maximum conversation length and how many conversations may run at the same time.
Stops when nobody is talking
After a set silence, the avatar stops by itself, so no minutes run on while the visitor has long moved on.
Budget used up? Then simply as chat
If the monthly budget is used up, or the avatar is briefly unavailable, Joan remains available as a chat, with a fixed image.
Half an hour costs you nothing
